Polo Multimodal present at SENDI 2018 Fortaleza

More than 900 technical works were enrolled in SENDI 2018 | One of the most prominent themes was the innovation area "New Business Models and Technology".


On November 20, 2018, Victor Ghia, COO of Polo Multimodal and future honorary consul of Italy in Fortaleza, participated in the official opening of SENDI 2018 Fortaleza, XXIII National Seminar on Electric Power Distribution.

The presentation of technical works is part of the program of the XXIII National Seminar on Electric Power Distribution (SENDI 2018), one of the largest events in the electric power sector that took place in Fortaleza from November 20 to 23, 2018. More than 900 people signed up to participate in this event that focused on aspects of the technical, commercial, institutional and innovation areas in order to promote the exchange of experiences between electric power distribution companies.

The event was also attended by partners from Polo Multimodal such as Ivan Aliberti, partner of GSA Advice, and Gabor de Zagon, Consul of Italy in Recife. The mayor of Fortaleza, Roberto Cláudio, was also present at the opening session.

Among the topics with the most entries we can mention: "New Business Models and Technology", in the innovation area; "Distribution Networks up to 34.5 kV", in the technical area; "Communication and customer relationship", in the commercial area; and "Energy efficiency and use education", in the institutional area.


The evaluation and selection of the work was in accordance with the following criteria: "Practical application", "Scalability of application", "Ordination of ideas, content and clarity of technical work", "Originality, creativity, inventiveness" and "Relevance of work for the electricity sector". The results of those selected are available on the SENDI 2018 website www.sendi.org.br.
