Polo Multimodal is signing a technical cooperation agreement with the Municipality of São Gonçalo do Amarante to prescribe the premises and requirements for the Taiba private use terminal (TUP). The city government has already decreed the areas of interest as being benefit to the public.

Polo Multimodal will show interest within the Brazilian concessions legislation to develop technical and feasibility studies, economic, financial and legal modeling for the TUP Taiba concession, an important facility to promote the economic development of the region in addition to the existing public port in the Pecém region, collaborating to consolidate a maritime transport cluster and leveraging the region's Export Processing Zone (EPZ).

Taiba's TUP will be aimed at companies that demand their own port structure. Instead of competing, it will complement the public port of Pecém. After completing studies, modeling and obtaining licenses, Polo Multimodal intends to compete for the concession, through a wholly-owned subsidiary of a specific purpose. Also in the preliminary study phase for the concession, a large industry will be chosen with which a Joint Venture will be negotiated and formalized.

POLO MULTIMODAL PECEM is licensing the executive and cargo airport in the municipality of São Gonçalo do Amarante (CE). The airport, which will be located in front of the Polo Pecem Multimodal, was designed with a runway 1800 meters long to receive Gulfstream G500 aircrafts in the first stage, Boeing 737 and Airbus 310 in the second stage of its development.

The construction of the airport completes the Polo Multimodal modes, enhances the project, provides improvements throughout the region and promises to attract sectors of the industry related to air cargo transportation.

The valuation of the airport as a potential generator of future profits, as well as the effects on the increase of induced demand inside the Polo Pecem Multimodal, are object of studies and are not included in the current evaluation of the project. The airport business, once the operating licenses have been obtained, should have a significant impact on the value of the shares on the Exchange market.

We will create the airport company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Polo Multimodal. The phisical execution  will take place through a joint venture (Model A) with a specialized company in the sector or through capital market financing (Model B), taking into consideration the best alternative for the shareholders.

POLO MULTIMODAL PECEM has designed an area connected to the Transnordestina railway for the storage of imported goods in the “dry port” modality.

Dry Port is an intermodal land terminal directly connected by highway and railroad, being a bonded warehouse located in the secondary zone (outside the organized port). It receives the charges still consolidated, being able to nationalize them immediately or operate as a customs warehouse. In this way, the dry port stores the importer’s merchandise for the period he wants, according to a system of suspension of taxes, and can fractionate the nationalization.

The license for a "Dry Port" inside the Polo Pecem Multimodal will attract some specific types of industries willing to pay higher rent for logistic spaces due to the positive tax impact it generates on the revenues of the installed companies.

The impact of a "Dry Port" within the Polo Pecem Multimodal will cause a significant increase in the demand of companies and consequently in the price of shares (tokens) in the exchange market.


Once licenses have been obtained, we will proceed with the creation of a specific “dry port” company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Polo Multimodal. The phisical  execution will take place through a joint venture (Model A) with a company of the sector or resorting to the capital market (Model B), taking into consideration the best alternative for the shareholders.

The goal is to make Polo Pecem Multimodal a hub of attraction for startups in Brazil focused meanly in the industry 4.0. The technologies that we hope to be developed are included in the universe of nanotechnology, neurotechlogy, biotechnology, robotic, artificial intelligence and energy storage. Part of the funds raised by Polo Multimodal will be allocated to investments in the most promising startups. The future profits generated by the success of the startups will lead to the valorization of the Polo Multimodal and the increase in the expectation of profits in general.

The Energy Valley is located in a 4,000,000 m² area, placed a few kilometers from Polo Pecem Multimodal. It will be destined to projects of generation of clean energy and to the installation of innovative startups.


Being located in a region with one of the highest levels of solar radiation in the world and  with a constant wind, the Energy Valley, in the state of Ceará, presents favorable conditions for the generation of renewable energies. In addition, it is embedded in a flourishing industrial environment, which ensures an increasing demand for energy and provides industrial waste that can be transformed into clean energy.


Create favorable conditions in terms of infrastructure, technology, know-how and bureaucratic simplification to attract:

  • projects for clean energy generation;

  • companies with innovative clean energy generation solutions.

Agreement between Energy Valley and Polo Multimodal

Polo Multimodal has signed a partnership agreement with the company that owns the area that will get the Energy Valley facilities. The land enters as exchange for a percentage of profits on future revenues generated in the installed businesses. Polo Multimodal is responsible for attracting business to Energy Valley, managing and making strategic decisions.

Business Model

The generation of profit for Polo Multimodal (and for the token holders) may come from two different business models:

  • Profit sharing generated by clean energy projects set up in Energy Valley;

  • Participation in companies (startup) with innovative projects for the production of clean energy.


Polo Multimodal will choose among the most promising projects, providing the land, enabling local, national and international networks for the development and growth of the startup. It can also invest directly in the project itself, participating in the company's profit.

Polo Swiss Development Ag owns the rights of the Polocoin token utility which will be the subject of its own ICO (Initial Coin Offering).

The token utility is being incorporated into a Dutch company, the Polo Holland Development, based in Amsterdam. 

POLOCOIN, based on blockchain technology, is a cryptocurrency designed for the payment of services and goods generated within the symbiotic market consisting of the Polo Multimodal, the ZPE (free trade zone) and the Port of Pecém.

PoloCoin offers a new synergistic perspective between three entities that do not compete with each other, helping to create a favorable ecosystem in which all the actors target the socio-economic development of the region in which they operate.

The Polocoin acts as a medium of exchange between players participating in the Social Simbiotic Network. External players can purchase products and services using POLOCOIN tokens, distributed among investors, suppliers of products and services and property owners.

Polo Multimodal has signed a collaboration agreement with Hyperloop Tech to develop a research and feasibility study to carry out a transport based on Hyperloop technology. The purpose is to increase the competitiveness of logistics, especially in northeastern Brazil, connecting the Port of Pecém with other logistics regions relevant to cargo transportation.

The recent partnership signed between the Port of Hamburg and Hyperloop for the transport of containers has aroused the interest of the Polo Multimodal to sound out new logistics solutions in the transport of cargo connected with the Port of Pecém.

Once the study is completed and the economic feasibility is determined, Polo Multimodal will have priority for carrying out the transportation project, raising the funds or set partnerships for the physical execution of the works and distribute the profits to the token holders.
